Bharti Airtel provides Free Access to Facebook Mobile Site
Bharti Airtel one of India’s largest telecom service provider has announced free of charge access to Mobile Version of Facebook.
Airtel customers can access Mobile version of Facebook (m.facebook.com) free of cost without any data charges.
Facebook is the most popular social networking site and users share photos, send messages, write on the wall and post updates helping them to stay closer with friends and colleagues.
Airtel users can do all these tasks of uploading photos or sending messages free of cost without any data charges.
Facebook’s Mobile Site will also be available in five more Indian languages – Punjabi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam starting from July 15, 2010 making Airtel customers first mobile users to enjoy Facebook on their mobile in five vernacular languages.
Existing Airtel mobile internet users can start using Facebook right now free of charge.
Customers who are using Airtel mobile internet for the first time will have to send SMS ‘FACEBOOK’ to 54321. This will activate free access to facebook mobile site for the month of July and August.
