Today, YouTube will be celebrating its 5th Birthday. Ever since its launch on February 14th year 2005 by 3 Pay Pal employees, Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim, YouTube has gained a huge success.

Within a year of launch YouTube was purchased by Google Inc for $1.65 billion. Today, YouTube is ranked as the 4th most popular website with billion views per day.

YouTube has added more features that keeps it apart from other Video Streaming websites like adding annotation, High Definition Video, Support for HTML 5, 3D videos and Live streaming of Concerts.
