Get Vista Sidebar and Gadgets in Windows XP
Windows vista has a sidebar which consists of number of Gadgets, making it easy to access simple but useful applications.
The Gadgets include Calendar, Clock, Contacts, CPU Meter, Currency conversion, RSS Feed Headlines, Notes, Picture Puzzle, Slide Show, Stocks, and Weather.
These gadgets can be placed in the sidebar or they can float anywhere on the desktop. We can also run multiple instances of a gadget simultaneously.

For example, run CPU Meter to keep any eye on RAM / Processor Usage and Stocks Gadget to stay up-to-date on latest stock prices.
All these features are only available in Windows Vista.

With Vista Rainbar you can get Windows Vista Sidebar and Gadgets in Windows XP. It is a simple application with a glossy interface and many useful Gadgets.
Just double click on the Vista Rainbar icon, this will launch a sidebar, which is transparent and can be moved to any corner of the Desktop.
Double Click on the ‘plus’ mark at the Top Right of the Sidebar, this will launch a gadgets window.
