Nokia 6710 Navigator and 6720 Classic launched
Nokia has launched the 6710 Navigator and 6720 Classic. Nokia 6710 Navigator has been perfectly designed to act like a guide while we travel through cities, with latest Maps software which include features like real time ‘drive and walk’ navigation, detailed regional maps, specially designed navigator key, touch area for easy zooming and a large display which will optimize outdoor viewing.
“The navigation solution provided by the Nokia 6710 Navigator is second to none and provides everything you would expect from a dedicated GPS device with all the benefits of a converged mobile device,” says Markku Suomi, vice president at Nokia.
One of the best features of Nokia 6710 Navigator is its integration with OVI which will allow users to create a map at home and synchronize it with their mobile device. The mapping data is stored in memory card, unlike any other mobile where in the user has to download the data.
The features also include high-resolution aerial images, 3D landmarks for over 200 cities, terrain maps, weather service, premium travel and events content, traffic and safety warnings.
Nokia 6710 Navigator and the Nokia 6720 classic have a unique design which will make it easier to hold device and take photos using the 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. Geo-tagging the exact location on a picture taken via camera is easier.
The Nokia 6720 classic has curved design with a new feature which will improve the voice quality and cut down external ambient sound. The features also include 20 days of standby time, high speed uplink and downlink Internet access, TV-out Connection for sharing images and video.
