Microsoft Live Search will Disable Malicious Websites from Search Results
Internet is full of threats from websites with download links which will steal information from your computer to websites which host virus and malicious programs.
When you search for information in different search engines, you may find many search results. In some cases you may accidentally login to one of those websites which will harm your computer.
Of course, Google marks some of these websites with a warning sign which says “This website may harm your computer”. And if you have a McAfee SiteAdvisor plugin, harmful websites are marked with a red flag.
Now, Microsoft has decided to add some new features to Live Search. This new feature will mark website with malicious content or behavior, to be dangerous.
Links which are flagged as harmful will be disabled and won’t be indexed in the Live Search.
If links of any reputed sites are flagged to be harmful, Live Search WebMaster Center Blog will help in fixing the problems and secure the website.
