Baidu is Default Search Engine in Opera 9.5 Desktop Browser in China
Norway based Opera Software today made Baidu, which is a leading Chinese language Internet search provider as a default search engine in Opera’s desktop browser in China.
Baidu search engine, which will be available on the right top of the Opera browser, can be easily accessed by the users.
“The partnership with Opera solidifies our goal to be the most efficient and convenient search provider,” said Shen Haoyu, EVP of Baidu. “Opera is one of the most innovative Internet companies, and we believe this collaboration will provide Opera’s users with the best Chinese search service available.”
Opera’s newest desktop browser, Opera 9.5, delivers faster and helps you stay safe online with the help of Haute Secure, a security company which protects users from Malicious Software.
