Asus Unveils Essentio CS5110, The world’s smallest Desktop PC
Asus has announced Essentio CS5110 desktop which it claims is “The world’s smallest Desktop PC equipped with a fully embedded discrete graphic card, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 256MB MXM graphics module.”
The desktop features an Intel G35-based motherboard and supports Core 2 Duo, Pentium Dual Core and Celeron D processors. Asus is offering a choice of 3.5 SataII hard drive ranging from 250GB to 1TB, DDR2 RAM up to 4GB and Blu-ray “SuperMulti” drive or a DVD burner.
The CS5110 measures just 200mm (D) X 290mm (H) X 80mm (W) and weighs just 3.4 kg. The CS5110 is also relatively quiet and only emits 23.9dB of noise at idle.
Other features of the CS5110 include 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, GbE, Built-in IR Receiver, six USB 2.0 ports, Firewire, an HDMI port, a VGA port, 10-in-1 media reader and Windows Vista Home Premium OS.
The price and availability of this PC has not yet been disclosed.
This thing looks sweet.
It would be the perfect media server.
