Firefox 3 Beta 4 Version Has Been Released

Firefox 3 Beta 4 version has been released, bringing a significant speed boost for sites that use a lot of Javascript. The beta 4 version, like last time, is aimed at Web developers and testers to generate feedback and betterments in order to take a step further towards the final version of Firefox 3.

Ed Burnette at ZDNet benchmarks Firefox 3b4′s performance and finds it’s three times faster than Firefox 2 and five times faster than Internet Explorer 7.

The Mozilla team has added a fifth beta of Firefox 3 to the schedule. It’s due out on March 18.
